run it free air and u wont have a box to deal with. i dont know the specs but because its a free air sub im almost betting the sealed box is going to be pretty big.

Kickers need a lot of room... I had 3 Kicker Comp VR's with 1500 watts on them. The box was a sealed 9.0 ft box I made for my Trooper in woodtech after visting Stillwater Desings (They make Kicker) in Stillwater, Oklahoma. So depending on the bass you want the I still would do the 3.0 box cause the smaller box will give you a tigher bass note then the 3.0.

So if I go with the 3.6 cubic foot box , i would need a box with 1 port hole 4" in diameter right???? and where would i locate the port??

I came up with a box dimetion of 29.5"x 19.5" x 13.5 " to come up with 3.5 cubic foot inside. Is that correct. I'm still not sure about a port hole diameter, and where to locate it. Any help would be greatful Thanks

If its a comp sub it would prefer a sealed box. Its also not a free air sub. It would play lower in a sealed box and cleaner than in a ported box. The ported box will be just somewhat louder and boomier.

It is strickly a free air sub needs ported, not a comp. I just need to know where to intall the port and how big. I know it say 4-4.25" but is that the diameter. Seems like a big port to me, but i could be wrong Thanks all

you can get just as clean a sound in a ported box as you can a sealed box if its built right.
