Ok well Im installing a cd player into my cavalier before I trade it in (long story) and its been a while since I have done it. Well Im having some issues. When connecting the red (main power) from the cd player, I remember running another cable to one of the fuses for some reason. Is that correct. Ok if I connect the red from the cd player to the red on the wire harness I get no power, but if I connect the red from the cd player to the power running from the fuse box then I get power, however its constant and doesnt shut off when the car is off. WTF am I doing wrong? I did search for the answer btw, and couldnt find anything.

There isn't one near the radio.. it would be convenient... but there isn't, unfortunately.
