there is a place locally to me that built my 2.4 alternator (180 amps). they powdercoated the case and installed all brand new guts for i believe $250.00.
pm me if you would like to talk about getting your's done....

Find a place that can rebuild your stock alt and make it a higher amperage. Also, if you're drawing 900rms at the most, then maybe a good battery/big 3 can help.

you want to bump, then they will bump and hit real hard and a lot good.
LOL
im running a red top optima right now and its not helping that much..perhaps my UD pulley isnt helping either ...i believe my problem is with the stereo running the alt cant charge the the battery enough.....if i turn the stereo OFF and drive the car home from where ever im at then the battery holds a decent charge...if i leave the stereo running at ANY volume and then park my car in the garage the battery will be dead when i check it the next day or so...i have tried pulling the fuses on the amps and shutting off the deck after i drive it home but it still dies...the battery only holds a charge if i drive it after i shut it off....also if the stereo has been on and i shut it off i notice my voltometer says 12v ....if the stereo has been OFF while im driving it reads 13v when i park it..this was an obvious tip off
