aftermarket deck

i have like 6 wires left, two of them are grey. im just confused and cant find a wiring diagram anywhere can someone please help me with the few i have left.
heres what i have left

purple wire
2 greys
orange
dark gray
light pink or tan

I'll assume you aren't using a harness?

You have six wires left that were in the car or that are in the deck harness?

either way i had 6 wires left. i started to put it back together and just put the original back in and ill just go buy a harness when i get the cash i guess. i thought i read somewhere that even with the harness you still have to tap in somewhere for the switched 12v, is this true or am i just confusing things?

True.


Wire + inline fuse. I suggest tapping the wiper motor. Lots of amps to borrow, motor isn't very sensitive to fluctuation.

Or just get the Schoshe (or however you spell it) GM2000 thing that provies the switched power and dingers for $40 at Wally World.

I did it the other way first and regretted it the first time I left my lights on
