RE MX12 need amp

Hey im getting two of the mx 12s from re audio i want to run around 3000 to 3500 to them they will be in a ported enclosure but depending on the amp im not to sure on which configuration to get the dual 1 ohm or the dual 2ohm please help

Opti4000D. 4000 rms @ 1 ohm.
HK4000D. 4000rms @ 2 ohm

You're going to need a beefy alternator and electrical system to run this.

yeah i have an upgraded alt 200amp ohio generator i have a kinetik hc2000 up front and two in the back so i dont think i will run out of power for the system

^^^^ jesus thats goona be an awseome system. 3000 watts going to two 12's. 3 batteries and a 200 amp alternator. throw in some 0 gauge wiring and your all set.
