How's going j-body i'm looking to build a nice loud system for my car this is what i need and need help with
I have an optima yellow top battery
I have 4 gauge Amp wiring Kit
I have a Jensen vim9512 H/U
i'm getting a custom fiberglass box built but this is what i need
I need 2 15 inch Sub woofers Very Loud if Possible
An Amp to power Those Bad Boys ^
and 2 sets of 6 inch speakers
Also the wiring Diagram and everything needed for installation
If someone can help me out asap that would be greatly appreciated Thanks Allot J-Body
Also my Budget is Going to Be $50 for each set of 6inch speakers So $100 Together
$100 for the amp
around $75 for each sub
Also i want to order everything from onlinecarstereo.com i've used then many time before and they are great
with your budget ... your best bet is walmart... ouch .. 75 for a 15" sub ? 100 for an amp that even able to power them ? not gonna happen ... on a serious note.. at least to try to get it used on the budget like that. and i would also change out your HU. not tryna put you down. so dont take it personal just tryna help you out here . at least you got a yellow top
if thats your budget for a system, whats your budget for a fiberglass box? $50?
box is getting done for free can someone revise it with a $150-175 amp budget and $100-125 for each sub budget
im gonna say that the setup lanman gave is about as good as your gonna get on that budget bu heres my input
sub x2
amp
speakers x2
"I did it because I wanted to see what it would look like. You should be greatful that I even told you that it would look good. If your to dumb to use photoshop and change the color of your own car then you don't need to see it changed. I'm not going to give my work away. I'll sell the pic to you though for $15."-Adam Kalin

getting better just with the bump in price ...
the cvr is a better sub. ive heard both and the cvr has better power handling, higher sensitivity and more authentic sound. the MA has a muddy overall sound

overstock.com has decent prices
your gonna absolutely hate that sub. a 4000 watt sub for 60 dollars is most likely utter crap. i still say CVR

I say save up some money and do it right the first time. Like stated above...save $2k and then ask about what you should get. Or do what I am currently doing, buy nice subs when u get enough money to, then save and buy an amp down the road...so on. My type R's have been sitting in my closet for a good 2 months while i save up for a good amp and once i get the amp, i will install them then save for my doors.
I just got a 12" type-r, 500w alpine amp, wiring kit, ported box, and plenty of sound deadener for close to $450. its a very good setup for how little it cost me imo. mine hits way harder and sounds better than my friend's $750+ dual 12" setup.
ok so i hade my friend over thats making the box and he said its better if we do 2 12s so can someone show me some loud dual 12 and amp set ups for around 250-300
subx2
amp
thatll get pretty loud and its a high quality setup for your budget

both of the sub setups you posted arent even worthy of being mixed with my fecal matter.
i understand your trying to save a buck or two which is fine, but the ideas weve given you are gonna be your best bang for your buck in your budget, unless you somehow find and fi btl or re xxx in your budget

you're maxing out at like $400 without factoring in the (6") speakers for another hundred.
why not get
-1 quality sub and build a quality box for it @ around $200-$250
-1 good mono amp or 3/4/5 channel amp with the rest
if needed
-save for a set of components and then pick some up when you get a nice deal, ahemm CDT
or even better get the components now and amp them well, then shop around for a sub to compliment what you will already have
