So I need a new altnernator and was looking for one on eBay. I found this one, however, it says that is for a 96-98 motor. I've seen several 96-98 motors at the junkyard and they look exactly the same as the one in my 2001 Cavalier Z24. My question is will it work with my car? I am not sure what would be different besides the harness connector. Thanks for your help.

if you have the 2.4L engine you should be fine with that alternator
