I'm driving a 98 Sunfire sedan.
I've got a set of Memphis 5.25" 2ways in the door. 40RMS/80Peak
Accompanying them is a set of 2 way Memphis 6x9s in the rear deck. 60RMS/120Peak
Currently feeding them is a Kenwood MPV6022 Head unit with a built in 50w x 4 amp, about 12w RMS
Bieng raised in NYC, I don't know anything about cars. Much less car
audio, because I never cared to learn. Now that I've moved to a more slow paced setting where cars are necessary, I LOVE these things.
I need to know where to begin to amp the inside speakers. I know from reading around the forums it should be a 4 way so I can set the gain for front and rear individually.
Can anyone offer some guidance?
PS. I'm also changing the head unit soon. I NEED Mp3 CD functionality, don't need a CD Changer, don't need I-pod connectivity, would love USB or AUX input, apparently need RCA outputs for the amps. Any suggestions would be appreciated. THANKS IN ADVANCE!!!

What's your budget for each? An amp to power those speakers can definitely be had for a good price. The head unit is more what I'm wondering about budget for.

I'd like to keep it under 3 hundred. I need to eat during the week. lol. I've looked into some radios at the local shops, but I know nothing about the brands or if the prices posted are good/bad.

yeah alpine and pioneer will be your best bet for a head unit. 300 is a damn good budget. like you can see in my links, finding the power your speakers want wont cost you $300.
