Hello all. First post here. Patience please....

Working on girlfriend's 97 Cavalier. Have access to Mitchell OnDemand wiring diagrams. DRL quit working and green light flashing on dash about 2 months. Now low beam on LH headlight dim and no high beam. RH still works fine. With lights off have 12+ volts at orange wire on low beam. Also 12 volts on both orange wires at DRL relay (pins 87a & 86). Turn lights on and voltage drops to about 5-6. Plug under battery OK - no corrosion in plug. One light green wire corroded apart (DRL light?). Cut back to good wire and repaired. Checked continuity on dk blue wire from headlight to plug and then traced to firewall. No broken wires in loom. Swapped DRL relay with an available parts car and no change.

Ran out of light (literally - sun went down). Thinking of checking ground on DRL relay in morning. Running out of ideas.

Have you checked to see if the bulbs could have just burnt out? It could be the relay. Also check the bulb housing for corrosion or connection issues.
