So I have a trunk that the key hole was shaved. There is no switch under the dash like on my 02. Key fob is not working and hasnt worked in a while. Its been reprogrammed about 6 times. Car isnt mobile so I cant take it to the dealer to get the key fob working. With all that my ? is, is there a way to trigger the trunk somewhere in the car like at the computer to send a current to pop the trunk. Unfortunately I cant go through the back seat either due to the big sub box that wont budge. Thanks in advance guys!!
Start yanking the box. I'm in the same situation, except my solenoid died.
box needs to move... only way I know of to get to the latch. once insude the trunk theres a little notch where the cable would hook up where you can turn with a screwdriver.

if it has the factory motorized truck popper you can get the wire at the bcm and put 12v to it.
its a black wire with white stripe. there a a few wires down there with that all look alike, i think the one you want is in the purple connector.
Cool thanks. I went to the loom of wire on the driver side door and there is only two black with white wires. Used a my drill battery and voila it worked so thanks alot!!!!
