Thinking about picking up a AutoCommand 20095 . Wondering if anyone has any opionions on it. Haven't found

much about it, and can get it for around $190. Any info would be appericated.

Never heard of it... but if you're planning on putting it on the Sunfire you've got listed in your registry.... their site says it requires an automatic transmission...?

Yea, but don't most say that? I think that you just have to wire it to the parking brake? Not quite sure though. Never installed

one on a manual. I'll do some more digging on that but I appericate your concern.

The Compustar is designed for the manual transmission... you set the parking brake and exit the car without touching the brakes, leaving the engine still running so the alarm knows you're in neutral. As soon as you close the door, it turns the engine off. Then you can safely remote start, because it's still in neutral.

I don't about other alarms... but if the operation isn't similar to that, you run the risk of remote starting it in gear.
