speaker box question

so i have an extra set of 4 x 6 speakers that i wanna put in my car but not in the door(already have pioneers up there) and i put them on the rear deck. so im gonna bulid little boxes, now im not sure if fiberglass or wood(materialized/painted) would be better and if there any specific sizes i need to make them etc so if anyone could give me advice itd be great.

bad idea im guessin? i just figured point um towards front so id get it like directly but if its a bad idea ill scrap it. where would be a good place then (deffiantly willing to do some fabraction for it)

more is not always better, especially if you don't have the right power or imaging for it. You will be happier just keeping what you have, or getting a small amp to push what you have. You might have some extra speakers kicking around, but it doesn't mean you NEED to use them. sell em off and buy a small amp for your current speakers. That alone, when tuned correctly, will sound much better than what you have now, or want to do.

i have a 4 channel amp was gonna amp the spares but i guess itd be smarted to amp my fronts then.

Amp the speakers you have now. Do it right, tune it right, and you will be much happier not only with what you have now, but also much happier than just tossing in extra speakers behind you.

Two speakers on 50 watts > 14 speakers on 50 watts. Quality wise.
