alright i just got a power converter a 400watt one sweet as hell plugged it in went fine. i forgot to unplug the cig lighter from the socket and touched the leads accidentally this is like 4 am im doing this. created a spark and it seemed to spark and continue to spark all the way down to the wire to the driver side fuse panel. the fuse isn't blown cause i can use the cig lighter on the dash and the horn works and i checked the fuses too all good. im wondering what i could do besides run another 12v wire to the cig lighter or if anyone knows where the wire runs ill run another one that way but last resort

You probably cooked the wire. Your best bet is to A - trace the wire to the fuse box and repair the bad section, or B - hook a relay up in line with one of the main power connectors under the steering column.
