For some reason, my secret code no longer works to unlock my theft-locked radio on my '98 Sunfire. Can someone tell me how to find the dealer code to unlock it?

I was told by the parts dept guy at the local Buick dealer (there are no more Pontiac dealers of course) that GM stores key and radio codes for 14 years back. He could not guarantee if he even got the codes if they are "correct" because sometimes they are still wrong!
