i really hope this doesnt seem like a bad post but i tried searching. I'm about to get my 01 cav sedan back from paint and was really becoming interested in a supercharger (friend of mine has a ss coblat and i just love it in that car)or a turbo. any reccomendations for me. i know this may seem really stupid so i'm preparing myself for the worst. just curious what can me done to my automatic.

i dont know what engine you have

but to help make up for the loses of owning an auto. get a b&m shift improver. and if u want to go further get a higher stall speed torque converter.

other that gm has supercharger kits for both the 2.4 and the 2.2 ecotec. with these superchargers u get better reliablity over aftermarket superchargers, and turbo's.

i have a 2.4 not an ecotec

looking at the 2.4 twin cam supercharger. does any one own this in their car? what other parts shall i be needing for this? will this work that well with an automatic

Then get the gm supercharger with the gm reflash plus hptuners you'll have some nice numbers plus the abilitie to tune. if you have the time/money get a port and polish from a local shop and have a 2.3 oilpump put in. that will give you tune ability and reliabilty. you go just start their and go on. Just make sure to upgrade the engine and trans mounts to safetly put the power down.
