2200 turbo manifold on 2.2

I was wondering if a turbo manifold for the 2200 will fit on a 95-97 2.2L. The guy selling sasy it will but I know you guys will know.

if its the manifold thats sold on ebay all the time, then yes it will fit. i used one of those ebay manifolds when i boosted my 97 2.2.

yeah. i had no problems with it and it fit great. whatever it was coated with flaked off within a few trips around the block.

What should i coat it with. Is there a paint that will handle the heat?

im not sure... if its metal i might just try to polish it... if not ill prolly paint with high degree paint.

Why dont you just send it to jet hot for the coating.....atleast you know it will be done right, and they know thier shlt.

I have the ebay manifold currently, and I'm quite happy with it.

I wasn't going to settle for the grey paint it came in, so I used black high heat engine enamel (1500*F) and haven't had a problem all year.

No cracks on the manifold, no signs of aging or anything. For what it is, its well done.

IMO, I'm just going to keep repainting the manifold if I have to. My afternoon and a 1/4 can of flat black paint is worth WAY less then to send it to jet-hot and have a HUGE amount of downtime.
