megan catback and m45, your opinions

well thinking of getting the 2.25" megan catback for 96-02 cavaliers (fits 00 sunfires too i beleive correct me if im wrong) and wanted to see what everyone with either a m62 or m45 charger thought about this choice since im getting tired of my custom 2.25" system springing leaks. I know 04blackfire has the m62 with this catback but dont know his opinion on it. thanks.

it doesn't sound half bad on NA cars. it actually sounds pretty decent for a fartcan setup. i would assume that it would be a lot louder on a boosted vehicle. i have a brand new megan cat back sitting downstairs in my living room if you want any pictures of the setup or specific measurements.

I would try run 2.5" with a supercharged setup.

well a local shop just said they would do mandrel exhaust 2.25" for only 150 bucks. Think if gain more from that then going 2.25 crushed bent?

the best for yours is buying a 2.5" exhaust line mandrel bent... better flow and more power at high rpm

i just dont want it to be a turd on low end, i already lost some noticable power by cutting the cat just so i didnt have to worry about the stuff inside it clogging up which did happen. Im concerned about backpreasure loss and being slow with the new muffler also. Now i have a 18" on it but the dynomax muffler i bought is only like 12", will that be fine with 2.5?

It will be fine, you're low end will stay the same if not improve a little. Either way, its hardly going to be noticeable.

you guys think single 2.25" mandrel bent catback, gutted cat (have on now) with 18" overall length dynomax muffler would gain me some since its not crushed like my current? im leaning more towards this setup after reading posts.
