just idler.. tensioner is not ribbed. but yes custom IM would be ther best way, plus you can put in whatever cooling you want

chop off the flange from say a m45 and chop off the flange from the m62 then weld the m62 to the m45 flange

maybe.....

or you could maybe use a 2.3ho intake mani made to fit the 2.4 and use that instead? i dunno....

On the 2.2 eco they are just o-rings built into the stock intake manifold that seal to the head. However if you used the gasket that came with the supercharger kit, or just bought one from the dealer for a cobalt ss.... Compare that to the 2.4's and see if you can't make something work.

its a cast aluminum part, look at the ounting holes and how they are through the manifold... not a flange.

With enough time and effort anything can be made to work. An adapter plate with studs for the s/c intake manifold and countersunk holes for the mounting to the 2.4 head may be possible. Would be necessary to compare the two bolt patters before seeing if there is truly enough clearance.

How much room would, say, a 1" spacer leave between the S/C and the Rad?

Also gotta consider the snout lenght to see if the pulley will line up with the rest.
