I am thinking about getting my internals done on my hahn stage 2 eco. i can get a pretty good deal for Rods, Pistons and ARP bolts. however, there is only 1 thing. the pistons are stock sized and not a .020 overbore. is that a big deal? should i not get it? thanks
I am currently in the eco building process and I just got normal bore pistons but again my motor is new. if so you alot or miles or your car then boring might be good but i think that stock bore should be good aswell. Not 100% sure but i think it should ge ok for it to be stock bore pistons unless there is sugnificant cylinder wall wear.
Project Yellow Blur Is Under Way ! ! ! ! !
you think so? well i only have 60,000kms on my car. is that good enough?
i would bore it .020 over to be sure. Have them match the piston to the cylinder that way its perfect.
not to mention i just looked up how much sleeves would cost and they would be like 700 buckss lol compared to honing cylinders for like 20-30 bucks a piece.
