If I were to put the supercharger kit on,go get it reflashed, then later on maybe a smaller pulley, and my header back exhaust, would that jack up the reflash and cause it to run poorly? How about the eco s/c guys that have the gm reflash? How are they running with exhaust and smaller pulley? Decent?
You can run down to about the 3.0 pulley before you start getting issues with the reflash.
and header back exhaust also wont be a problem?
Once you get the reflash it locks HPTuners out of the ECM and you can do no tuning ever.
I wonder if that is something they plan on fixing in the future.. I would sure hope so.
HP Tuners | Garrett T3/T04B | 2.5" Charge Pipes | 2.5" Downpipe | 650 Injectors | HO Manifold | Addco front/rear | Motor Mounts | HKS SSQV | Spec stage 3 | AEM UEGO Wideband | Team Green LSD | FMIC | 2.3 cams | 2.3 oil pump swap | 280WHP | Now ECOTECED
yes, Ive known that for a while, but just wasnt sure if the header and exhaust would hurt it?
Right now, I'm stock pulley with a full exhaust. No issues, 'cept it runs too rich in boost. You're safe down to a 3.1" or so.

It will work on the 2.4l LD9 with the reflash. It wont work on the ecotec with the reflash. But it will work on the Ecotec without the reflash.
You can add an exhaust on after i did a 2.5" from the header back and there were no problems
