Hello all, just got a quick question about a internal wastegate... I'm doing a custom turbo kit on my 99 Cavalier w/ 2200 engine... I got an internal wastegate for it, but I'm confused on the mounting/theory of operation on it... The "canister" where the vacuum lines hook up at, theres the plunger inside of it w/ the rod connected to it. It seems as if i can pull the rod and the plunger pulls out of the canister, as if theres now an air pocket in the canister... Is this how i should mount it/hook it up??? Or should that rod just be tightened down snug to the rest of the wastegate mounted to the turbo??? Sorry for the poor terminology, i'm still learning!! Any help would be useful! Thanks!
