wut all would be necessary to complete this? just a custom manifold right and also tuning? or is there anything else i would need?
Noone really knows because noone has done it yet. Well 1 has but he had to cut a hole in his hood

i got a shop that says they can do it and all they would have to do is cut part of the mani that is on it, to make it fit to my 2.4.. im just tryna make sure there isn't anything extra special that i would need, in order for them to make it run correctly
Remember what has to drive that SC is a belt, in which case it is a pain to rig something up affectively. If you got the GM SC idler it could be done, just custom fabbing it is a pain.

the m62 is smaller than the m90, so i know it is possible. if you plan on running the charger at the top, where the stock manifold is, i found that it worked well to make a bracket for the alternator and tensioner as well, and ditch the a/c. of course you still need to tune for boost, fuel and spark. hope that helps a bit.

I'm working on it now, and would have it done by now if I had an m62... I'm looking to pick up one for cheap, but they're all like 7-800 right now, and then I gotta pay for the manifold, and it's just kind of a pain right now. When I get my tax returns, I'll proll just say screw it and drop the coin for it all. I know it'd be nice if it was done already, but I'm just trying to get a lot of things done at once right now.

Just setup the mani to put the pulley exactly where it would be on the 2.4 kit. Its more cad and measuring work than anything. Hell I work for a school now with a full lathe and mill. I should get the help of the students and teachers and meausre something up. I know I have some other things I'd like them to practice on. The shop guy also says he has access to free scrap. Free is good

well, I have the measurements for everything but the bypass valve, and I know someone that works for eaton, I kust emailed a guy about picking up an m62, so we'll see what shakes loose.

I'm listening on this as I brought an M62 from an 05 Ion redline now do I need the Eco intake and then have the flange modified to fit the 2.4 or is someone out there working on an intake tha will bolt to the 2.4 and mount an M62, also what about an idler pulley? I really don't want to lose my a/c either, any way to mount this without losing the a/c?

from wut the shop told me and most other people, u would need the flange from an m62 and a flange from the m45 and then cut off the m62 flange and mold it to the m45 flange.... now, about ac and other things i still have no answer..

LSJ mani on a LD9?
Get ONE adapter plate made for the LD9 intake, use counter sunk bolts to hold it to the head, then drill and tap the adapter flange for the LSJ flange.....
The starter is about where the LSJ's filter is, so I think that would fit, you would have to of course make an oil filter relocation kit, and brace the blower also.
I think it’s doable though.
And as soon as I have the extra cash I’m going to buy a new manifold, my GM employ cost is about 450

i have no ideal wut the lsj mani is.. ive seen the term over and over but i cant put my foot as to which engine that comes from... help me out
I believe the lsj motor is the motor used in the supercharged Cobalts and Ion redlines

in that case, this project seems like it has more of a chance of working..
correct. i work at a dealler ship, the manie comes with all the aftercoller stuff, all i would have to do is get a pump and condencer.......
for 450 or so..... thats why im looking in to it.

NO for the manafold, you would still have to make everything else and get the blower.
BUT atlest this way it has a aftercooler.
