Hahn kit with Profec B spec II Boost controller

Alright need your help. Does anyone have the profec b spec II on their Hahn kit? If so how did you hook it up? The FMU is hooked up a little different than cartech wants you to, and so it has me a little confused as to where the solenoid is supposed to be put inline. Any help would be appreciated.

I don't have a hahn kit but I have the profec B spec 2.... lemme just load my ProfecB Users Manual PDF I have here at work for the install...

Screw the 6mm NPT fittings they give you into the NO and COM ports on the solenoid...

Run the line from the wastegate actuator to the COM port.

Run the line from the boost source to the NO port.

Clamp the lines for the COM port and the wastegate actuator. (Clamps supplied)

Mount the solenoid away from heat and vibration - try to keep the lines as short as possible.

Then run the vaccum line with the check valve from the profec B main unit to the intake manifold where you can tap in anywhere for vaccum.

Honestly - it's that easy. Now just wire it up and have fun.

The Profec doesn't have anything to do with the FMU, its put in-line with the wastegate and you take a reading from a vacuum source on the manifold (as Chris said).

Thanks for the response guys, but the fmu vac line is not coming off of the intake manifold like I would think it should. It is comming off of the compressor side of the turbo like hahn said they wanted it hooked up. I just don't want to put in a bunch of tee's and screw readings up. That's why I was looking to see if anyone else with the ecotec hahn kit in particular was using one. I know how it should hook up but I just wanted to check other hahn installs first. I might just hook up a vac line to the fmu from the intake manifold instead of how it is now, install the profec b and call it good.

Your fmu has squat all to do with this install man... where is your wastegate actuator Tee'd into? Go from there with the install....

Sorry don't 'T" into where the wastegate actuator signal line gets its signal... intercept it there and begin the install... where is your WG Actuator getting signal from right now?

The reason the Hahn kit taps into the compressor is because it sees the boost from the turbo and not the boost at the manifold after the pressure drop across the system = more fuel.
