Ok, I want to get the charger polished and ported and rebuilt and all that, but I have a couple questions. Now, I have HPTuners so I can flash a stock tune file on. I want to pull off the charger and run non-boosted since this car is my DD and I have no other car available to me......my questions are
The idler pulley that was put on with the supercharger, can you just not use it, like bypass it?? If not and I HAVE to use it, does anyone know what size belt it is??
The oil/air separator, can I use the one that came with the kit? Or do I have to use the stock one?
I know I missed something, but that's all that I can think of lol....
Thanks!

It would probably be easier if you just suffered for a couple days...
You shouldn't have to change your tune, I wouldn't think.
if you do end up changing your tune back to stock remember to put the stock injectors back in or change your constant.

Yea after thinking about it, all the tables are map based and everything's already tuned so I should not have to change the tune....

Are you planning on polishing the outside of the charger or the ports? You probably won't want to polish the outside due to heat.
~Boost. Its what's for dinner!~
Actually you would want to polish it, removing the paint is a good idea. Difference would be minimal, but anything to remove heat is good.

I'm probably going to have a local shop do all of that.....
I just need to know what all I need to remove and/or re-route to make it work....

If you are takin' it off, take everything off bro. I know you don't want to, but I think it would be the best idea.
Well see, that's the thing. I didn't keep the stock oil/air separator nor all the replacement lines.....so ionno

To the best of my knowledge, the only difference in the stock vs. kit separator are the way the steel lines are, for clearance purposes behind the charger, but I haven't really looked at them that closely. You have to take the idler pulley off because the belt will have to go from the alternator down to the a/c compressor, just as it did N/A.
