What do you think of your performance and performance capabilities? What hp are you guys getting and with what mods? Are you content with the sc rather then a turbo set up?
Calm down, lol. I like it. My mods are in my profile. It's reliable. It's fun. It's easy.
Love my rsm/z-spec setup but never turbooed the cav so i really cant compare both setups.
had a turbo , had alot of problems , most were from the idiot company that made the kit and cost me a motor
went s/c'd and havent looked back , 100% problem free fun
isnt nice to get answers when you post in the right forum
Ahh, I'm all set with the Rsm sc, if I got one it'd be the m45

the only kit you can get is the GM M62, the m45 is for the 2.4l engine, and the rsm kit is pure untuned

He has a 98Z with an 03 rear ( I thought he had an Eco at first too ). If I were you I would go with the m45 as it is at rock bottom pricing for a new kit. Whether you get an RSM/Z-Spec charger or the GM m45 you will have to implement at least a FMU as you cannot get the GM reflash. I had the m45 on my Z before it was totaled and I loved it. Either way you're going to love boost.
loving my supercharger, noo idea how much power it makes but definitely enough for now! would post mods but it doesnt matter since you cant get a setup like mine anyway

Now with northstar V8, IRS, 20's n 22's
lol I think I need a new sig, it's a 98 z24 w/ 03 tails.
Is it possible to bore all the port holes on the m45? ie: the 4 intake ports and the tb port? And then use a larger tb like a 62mm one?
Good point. I know I won't get any noticeable gains but if it's gonna cost me hundreds it's probly not worth it huh?

Well, I'm not religious so I personally could care less. If Jesus or Baby jesus can give me answers about a Cavalier supercharger, bring em on.

lol. I almost want to make a new account as baby jesus and answer some questions. I wish i could help ya, but i'm not boosted. hopefully jesus will come down from the heavens above and answer your supercharged woes. lol
Dont go with the M45, go turbo! Low boost numbers suck!
Although with the kit at 1400$ new, I guess it is worth that, definantly not worth 2500 bux.

Someone said that the meth is highly corrosive but someone else said that the sc's are now coated to protect against this. So the gm sc should be coated and protected right?
I think so, WhininZ has meth and a GM charger.... oh and if you wanna drive to Ohio you won't need a reflash we could tune it with HPT for a small fee of course, lol

Because I'm trying to get a feel how people like their superchargers and how they perform? Because I have specific questions and I'm trying to learn something?.....but yeah, that's crime around here. I forgot people get no respect if they arn't boosted or haven't done a big motor swap. Screw off.
