I have a 2001 z24. i was wondering if i were to get my car tuned with HP tuners, would i be able to run the gm reflash once i get my supercharger and then retune with HPT or is it not possible to do that??? I wanna get my car tuned the best i can before i throw the supercharger on and then retune it.

If it is a 2.4L w/ the GM flash than yes you can tune that specific calibration with HPTuners and optimize it for what you need it to do.
-Trailblazer SS - not so custom 6.0L - custom intake - custom tune
- (1) 2.4L on an engine stand (1) blown trans (2) good quad trans (1) eco trans = party

I'd wait to tune it until after the reflash, but why bump... your question was answered
well i wasnt sure if he understands how im asking the question and i wanted to see what other peoples opinions are also. I am going to have my car tuned n/a for now. when i buy the charger i wanna know if its still possible to have it flashed or does the hp tune lock it in anyway that the dealer cant work around it or even over write it?

All you have to do is download a S/C reflash from the HP repository and license it for 2 credits and do a "Rewrite Entire" on your '01 ECU.
So yes you can tune it now and then spend another 2 credits and write your own S/C tune without even going to the dealer...

nevermind, i talked to the guy who does the dyno tuning at speed nation and im going to wait til i get the charger on and the flash done then tune it.

you can tune it N/A and when you get the reflash that N/A tune will be erased from your PCM, and then you can tune that supercharger programming after.
You can tune before and after. When you get the supercharger programming it is in essence getting a new tune for your car, just a tune that is optimized to be able to handle boost as well. Then you optimize it for your specific vehicle via hptuners and dyno time.
