Turbo's are a little more work, but there are def worth it in the end.
I'd go turbo

Turbos can def. put down more power..but are known to be much less reliable than a s/c..it's your choice really..
what kind of kit do u have ecotec??
I have a Saab TD04. It's off of the Saab 9-3(HO versoin). I have barely any turbo lag and the power is awesome. I just put it on last weekend.

damn thats nice... how much did that all run u??
I bought a kit off ebay...actually a fellow org member... for $1600 which included the turbo, exhaust manifold, downpipe, FMIC, injectors, new map sensor, various bolts and nuts, oil lines...etc. Pretty much everything except gauges and spark plugs. In all probably around $2500 total.
Superchargers are nice, but you can only go so far. the only way to get more boost is to change the pulley But with a turbo you just turn up the boost. and turbo's won't have any problems with heatsoak.
Personally I would rather have a turbo over the charger, but don't get me wrong there are a few people who have put up some impressive times with the supercharger.
Your choice. Good luck with it.

As long as you get a decent sized FMIC you will have no problems with heatsoak, but I have heat soarked my SMIC on my talon a few times...
