I just bought a turbo kit that im building off of. It came with some parts that im going to use and some that I wont.
It came with this boost controller:
Boost controller
Im not sure how to hook it up, both of the red pieces say on them "arrow points toward wastegate actuator"
Can anyone make a fast diagram on how to hook it up? im not sure what to do here, both cant go to the wastegate.... theres only one nipple on it.
Can anyone tell me how this gets installed? I wasnt going to use a boost controller, but if itll work and i can get it hooked up, Ill give it a shot.
thanks for any help!
It gets spliced in between the line of the actuator. I hate to keep raining on your parade though, but those style controllers are extremely prone to boost spikes. Get your turbo on and tuned before installing that or its going to make your life hell.

Buy stuff from CarCustoms Ebay! Won't be disappointed!
I figured as much. I was going to run the turbo without it to begin with anyways. i dont mind you "raining on my parade" actually. Id rather have someone stop me from doing something thats just not a good idea. Itll save me money and time in the long run, the way I see it. This is why I come here first usually.
Im going to get the system all tuned before I add more boost. haha I plan on doing a motor build, but not for a while
.
As always, I appreciate advice from someone who knows what theyre talking about.
thanks!
if you wanna go cheap and reliable look around for an automotive air valve site you could put together some sweet ass @!#$ using some sort of voltage modfiyer. im talking like your own custom controller, with any levels you want. I have been wanting I was playing around with a idle air controller at school and started thinking of all the stuff I could do with the vac signal.
or you could just bite the bullet by an eltric on ebay and be done with the whole ordeal.
ethier way good luck
