I'm almost done piecing together my Saab kit for my 05 cav. I really need to find a piping kit.
Im going to be running a intercooler, and will be running the charge pipes under.
Im going to just buy the pieces and modify as needed.
Basically i need to know what kit from ebay will have enough length and have good materials.
Also i dont have an intercooler yet.
Google vibrant performance. They have multiple angles of aluminum piping. That's what I used.
But as you can see, my pipes run over the top.

u can also look for some mild steel ones and get the m welded instead of couplers, ive found a cheap charge piping kit but forgot the link go to homemadeturbo.com and check thier sponsors and it should be there
if you do order pipes from ebay there is a store call intercoolers only. their pipes actually have what i would call a rivet on the ends of their pipes so that the couplers hold them together better with less chance of a boost leak.

on a side note... whats better for charge piping, aluminum or stainless steel?
When you do the charge piping or the entire IC piping, you want to try weld the pipes together instead of using couplers... The more you weld and the less you use couplers, the less chance you will have boost leak...
Now, stainless steel is MUCH easier to weld together than Aluminum, but stainless steel is heavy, so alot of people use mild steel, now the stainless and mild steel are more expensive then aluminum,,, if you are on a budget, then you can buy aluminum and try your best to clamp down the couplers and hope there's no boost leak... If you know somebody that can weld aluminum, then they should be able to weld them together...

if you are doing a saab kit talk to brandoson, he has a jig for the charge pipes and downpipe.
talk about direct bolt on pieces/
the only other bad thing i can say about stainless steel is it absorbs heat at a greater amount, and it also expands a lot more.

Also with those ebay kits, they come with crappy couplers, I have a friend who I told from the beginning they wouldnt last, and sure enough some of them started ripping!! They are cheap crappy material, by hts products or any 4 ply reinforced silicone couplers, you can throw out those crappy ones from ebay if you buy that piping kit. However I do have aluminum piping from ebay. I use the piping with hts reinforced couplers and t-bolt clamps, never have problems with leaks or pipes blowing.
<aDdiCtEd 2 BoOsT>...EcOtEc...Yes it has 4 cylinders, yes it will beat your 8 cylinders!!!
Yep I'm going to get mine from Vibrant then lay out my design and have them TIG welded together. Aluminum is lighter and dissaptes heat better than stainless or mild steel.
