Ok guys, I have a couple quick questions for those of you who are running the reflash w/ a turbo.
1. What was the max boost you have run w/ the reflash and how does the motor like it?
2. Who is making the most power with the reflash and with what set up?
3. Is the reflash a 1 bar or 2 bar system, or better yet whats the highest amount of boost I can run on the reflash?
4. Is there anyway I can have the computer flashed and keep it running fine N/A, if no, could I buy another 2003 5spd ecu and have that flashed and then put the stock one back in?
thanks in advance guys, trying to figure out what I want to do for tuning and really need these questions answered. thanks again.
i ran 15 psi..reflash.thats it.....drove well.
11.2-12.0 wot
^^Did you happen to dyno it?? at that psi?

I'll give this a shot. My info might be right, it might be wrong....who knows?
1. 14.7 is what it reads up to, I believe. You could run more on it but if you run 18psi it's still going to read it as 14.7.
2. I think there are a couple that put down around 230whp with the reflash and a turbo setup, but I'd imagine there are people who have ran higher.
3. You need a 2 bar map sensor for the reflash
4. I'm not quite sure. I guess you could because the s/c is not always in boost so maybe you could. I dunno really. And you have to make sure you kinda have a hookup or someone who just doesn't care, because GM dealers are not suppose to give out the reflash if you are not running the m62 or m45 s/c setup. I called my local dealerships around here and they all told me that they would not do it.

Corrections:
1. 22 PSI is what it reads up to
2. People have put down more than that...
3. Its a 2.5 BAR TMAP.
4. Something is better than nothing....

hahaha...well it was worth a shot!

thanks for the reply guys, i really appreciate it. i might have the hook up to do it and want to get it done asap but i wont be boosted till next summer which is the reason for question number 4. thanks a lot guys and if you know anyone who has dyno'd higher then 230 please get them to post up and show the graphs. thanks a lot again guys.
the s/c reflash for the eco will read to 14.7psi, any higher than that and the ecu will basically be lost and try and figure out the right a/f ratio. 14.7 psi is the highest safe point for the eco reflash.
i disagree........i agree w/ shifted on the 22psi mark.
i ran 15 and didnt have a problem whatsoever.
i saw admiral jedis car hit 20 psi and it acted just fine.
holy cow admiral hit 20 psi and the motor held? thats impressive, and the turbo hitting that high for being as small as it is. very impressive.

I would think that was when he had the m62 on there
Proud member of Jbody of Kentucky ... Click on sig to go!
I didnt think he was running that kind of boost on the m62. eehhh either way 20psi is pretty damn high
i ran 12 psi on it for awhile on a 16g. no clue what the a/f was. back on my stock motor. we were almost done building my new one so i didnt really care.haha narrow band was in the green most of the time. lol not like that info is worth much. it held 18psi for 2 weeks with just the reflash and fmu, then blew a ringland.
its a 2.5 bar as shifted said. 1 bar-14.7
pretty much shifted confirmed everything and is right as usual.
and remember. 20psi means nothing.. its how much cfms it flows. most turbos will outflow an m62. not that the m62 is junk by anymeans.
m62 and reflash is what gm made for making decent power and still have a high engine life.
its definately better and more safe then the stock tune. specially if its an 04 or newer.
nothign something id look to be making 300+whp

That is incorrect, the TMAP is a 2.5 BAR MAP sensor, the ECU gets tuned to read 2.5 BAR, not 2 BAR.

Well by no means am I wanting to hit anything higher then 12 or 13 psi. The motor will be stock and ill be running a garrett T3 w/ .50 a/r and .63 a/r. Also when I say that I wont be hitting anything higher then 12 or 13 I simply mean that that will be my high boost setting and the car will be daily driven at around 7 or 8. I know that its all about the cfms and a turbo will outflow a supercharger anyday but I dont remember him ever upgrading the pulley at all.
All in all w/o talking about psi i'm looking for between 230 and 250 h/p, I want to get the reflash to just get the tuning done and over w/ and not have to worry about fine tuning any changes. The turbo is going on to just make the car a little more fun to drive.
12.5 psi with the supercharger (multiple autometers say 15 psi) but the TMAP sees 12.5 psi with the 2.9" pulley. 248 WHP 218 WTQ daily driven NO problems. Runs great however the injectors are pretty much just OPEN at full boost @ 110% duty cycle <---- insane! 36lb SC inj. and the A/Fs are between 9.5:1 up to 4K RPM with a linear increase to 12.0:1 at redline. Im also running Meth. Pulled the plugs yesterday and of all the cars Ive checked plugs on I have NEVER seen plugs so clean and perfect. They were new when I installed the SC (10k ago). They showed ZERO signs of any fuel/detenation/pre-ignition/oil consumption problems what-so-ever. Rather amazing considering I beat that car up EVERYDAY with no mercy. 0-2 degrees of knock retard but usually 0 except when the ambient air here is 110 F' or higher thats when it pulls 2 degrees. After careful observation of the reflash I really dont have any complaints. Its a rather decent tune for what it was designed for and then some. I havent had any of the issues that several people have reported about the reflash and most of what some have said the reflash does is not the case from my ECU monitoring. Very soon we will see just how much the reflash will take as Im nering completion of another project. Good luck

thanks a lot man, that answers another question or rather settles my worries, I want to go w/ the reflash because the car is daily driven and I want to keep its reliability.
when i refer to admiral jedi running 20 psi it was witht he saab setup
wow I didnt know the stock saab turbo would push that much. thats impressive.

i would love to see the IAT's on that.

I was too worried about not boosting that high for long to look...sorry. lol
when i hit 20psi on my td04h with the reflash it kept cutting out.
i know my injectors were max'd out, but what injectors were u using admiral
Bonnett, do you daily drive your car? If so how do you like the reflash for daily driving and do you regret doing that over a different formm of tuning?

I'm interested too !!! Keep us posted.
yea i drive it daily. its not too bad. its pretty fun and runs a little rich with turbo setup which is what its supposed to do. its a decent tune. havent had any complaints yet other than sometimes it sputters like its fouling out a plug but all in all its a good safe tune
