people with LD9's are making 430 WHP at 15 LBS.... less boost = less heat.

again. will require an external waste gate and new manifold..just because a turbo isnt a garrett doesnt mean its not any good.
and i was asking what people knew about the FP green turbo. and i dont have my mind made up. but from a cost efficient stand point. there is no reason for me to chose those garret turbos due to the extra cost and work that will be needed.
no need to be a dick. i asked for info on the turbo. not for people to bash me for wanting info on it.. if you dont have any info to help, then dont waste room posting.

hrmm. thanks for that info. i wasnt aware of that. even that, a new flange is an easy fix.

1. i have a mitsu super 20g from hahn now. so im already using a mitsu turbo
2. is an internal gate
3. i wont need a new manifold.
4.it still has stock spool time like an evo 16g (which is around 2500rpms)
and what jermy said is right. a big turbo like a gt45r takes awhile to hit 15psi... so its not efficient at that boost level. but once our at 15psi, from 15psi to 25psi. its quick and makes an increadable amount of power.
FP green turbo is a few hundred cheaper then a 35r. BUT add in the cost for a new manifold, external wastegate, flange, etc. its gonna be almost another grand.

A turbo not being efficient at low boost has nothing to do with its lag. Just check out a GT3076R map, it will me much more efficient making 400hp at 25psi than it is making 400hp at 15psi.
The ONLY reason guys use those FP turbos is because they are direct bolt ons, like i already said. Its not a direct bolt on for you so there should really be no reason to consider it. I just did a quick search and it seems to be just as expensive (if not more) as the GT turbos but its not nearly as good. You can add a external wastegate flange to your current manifold for close to the same cost as it would be to change your current T3 flange over to a Mitsu flange.
