anyone happen to know where i can get an aftermarket replacement idler pulley/bearing ? mine seems to be on its way out. part number or company that makes it would be great

i've never run across any aftermarket tensioner pulleys. (thats the one you want i assume) its plastic so an aluminum one would likely be heavier. if the bearing is going i'm sure you can get one any bearing place. just pull it off, get the numbers off it and get the replacement
It's not a tensioner pulley, it's an idler pulley, as clearly stated in the post.

my bad i should have looked though his profile before posting. the GM SC kit (something i'm not familiar with) must have an idler that my LD9 doesn't, unless its an ac delete but i'm sure he would have said that instead if that was the case.

I know at one time you could order the whole thing brand new from gmpartsdirect. When I bought my kit 2 years ago that is what I had to do because the kit was missing it.

called around today for that bearing .. 6403 part #, all the places i called say it only comes open .. no sealed version available. and no stock the C3 clearanced version (open) til march!
i think i got the wrong GM part number before .. 8896581 should be the right one.
