alot of guys talk about S-Porting a supercharger. I know what it means to port something... but what exactly is S-porting and what all does it involve? I know the results of it... but just curious what it actually is, how it works, what they do....

Drilling holes to the left and right of the discharge area to increase efficiency. Google works wonders.

so is that large black space at the back the "holes" you are refering to?

i never took an SC apart... so i dont know what they look like before or after a porting....

No, the triangular hole at the top is where the main airflow is pushed into the intake manifold. The large black area is where the air is sucked into the supercharger.
