Does anybody know what junkyard turbos are compatible with the 1998 z24 ? Broke as a joke and I have about 1000$ to spend. I figured I would just use a junkyard for awhile... I was reading about the Mitsubishi 13T if anyone is familar... And help is appreciated, just wanting to run around 6-8 lbs... Thanks

my advice is if you only have 1k to spend would be to NOT turbo your car, HPT< and some of the other bits you will need will cost you over 1k.

try homemadeturbo.com you can find alot of good info on there, the turbo you need will depend on what your plans are, but he is right it will cost more than the just the turbo. tuning alone can run 300-600
I did a junkyard setup for ~$300. However, I would highly suggest buying HPT and getting familiar with it first.
Also, plan on buying a rebuild kit for any turbo you pull from the 'yard. I've pulled some which had obviously been recently rebuilt and were clean as a whistle, but they still had bad seals.
