best bang for the $

was up guys. what should be the best bet for my 03 chevy cav its a 4 speed auto .
the ? is what route should i go. custom build a turbo for my car .or get the gm s/c kit
i have 4g's from my income tax.
right now my mods are
K&N blue cai
pacesetter 2 1/4 with custom 2 1/4 exhaust pipe
B&M ShiftPlus
nothing really special

well sc is going to be the cheap and easy route. turbo is going to be more custom and able to upgrade a lot more.

sell your car and put the rest twoard a 05 or 06 ss with 60k or so miles on it!!

You'll get the supercharger with a heat exchanger already on it!!

Or trade up for a Z28/Trans Am or a used GTO. Seriously.

And this coming from a guy who has a s/c'd Cavalier. F-bodies are just better performance platforms, especially the late 4th gens. No knocking the J's (I have one again after a year in a V6 F-body -- new baby means no f-body), but being the econoboxes they are, the suspension sucks, the brakes suck, and they're driven from the wrong wheels.



That being said, the aftermarket has come a long way to alleviate these issues. For 4Gs? If you don't trade up cars get the blower and a suspension/brake upgrades. The suspension will almost be more fun than the blower.
