Fuel Harness / Harness/plug for 1 bar?
Saturday, February 14, 2009 12:46 PM
well i goofed when i ordered something from GM parts direct and now have a part i dont need.. lol. its a fuel harness for an 03-05 cavalier with the ecotec. its part number 22693514 . it looks like the little harness guy that plugs into the fuel pump.. its number 4 in this diagram

so if anyone thinks they need that and want to buy it.. i still have the boxes to ship it in..

i was looking for the wiring that plugs into the stock 1 bar map sensor so i can hook it up to a vacuum line and tune with that for HPT instead of using the gm calibration for the supercharger, either that or see if the TMAP comes out and the 1bar fits in there.. anyone know exactly which harness or P/N that is? that would help a bunch lol.

Maybe.

But.... a MAP sensor, as long as its the same generation, has the same pig tail.....

Not that I know.

The TMAP is different chris. He had to rewire for the S/C kit. Its IAT/Map built into one sensor so it has an extra pin or 2.

it has 3 pins on the inside, i dont think i saved the connector i clipped. i think the connector was on one of the harnesses near the fuel rail, either the injector harness or one that plugs into it.. ill have to look at what the tmap is plugged into.. cant seem to find those on gm parts direct though, do you have any part numbers chris?

tnx

so wait, do you need the regular map plug, or the Tmap plug? if it is the T-map, I have one in the package I could get the PN off of.

lol just started making noise yesterday, barely any noise yesterday on the way home, and real bad noise this morning on the way to class. after class i was crawling around on the ground trying to see if it could be something attached to the driver side wheel but since i had no jack and was in the parking lot i couldnt see much

so its not like i was driving around for a week or more on it lol. so thats why you didnt tell me what was wrong when i texted you, you figured id see it here

im guessing it got a lot worse on the way out to your dealership though, it was making some nasty noises on the freeway

hmmm, well do a quick interweb search. I have come across them before. It was a sight that sold injector clips, and various other sensor connectors.....they had it. I would find you a link, but my work internet filter is blocking everything.

i listen to ya, was just tellin ya what Car X said. my initial thoughts were wheel bearing or axle, carx was the one who put trans into my head i was just trying to get some numbers for pricing which is why i was asking about the trans costs. i should probably get a spare one anyway though eh?

thank you chris lol.

hey chris, still makes noise. taking it back tomorrow. noise sounds like it did before it got to the grinding noise.. not sure what the problem is, maybe since the axles were sitting for so long before being installed? unsure, ill find out tomorrow or friday i guess depending on when they can check it out
