well today we were bored and had an 2002 ls cavy with ecotec
was boosted 20g, decided to see how much boost it could handle and what power it can make..sorry to say no video but pics..baaahh

I have never seen a valve bend like that. Im guessing a spring and/or retainer broke and let the valve drop down.
So whats going to happend to the car now?

built motor is be swapped into it, cust paid us to blow it up. if oil or coolant enters dyno cell we charge 275 for clean up.

So then what was the AFR at the time it blew and at what rpm was the engine held at?

Agreed. Power was WAY low for 22psi outta a 20g. That's about the power people are achieving on the LNF cobalt with 20 psi out of the tiny K04...

adr was going from 12.3-13.9
rpms where ran up to 6600-
20psi was on a 12$ boostgauge may be poor quality, and not acurate #'s

We were there a couple years back I came across a 2002 turbo'd at a dealer's lot, looked to be the Hahn kit. Had a silver/orange fade paint and was kitted.

104 octane, and have no clue about where the powerband peaked. didnt save the 2 runs on the computer, it was a mere joke to see how much it would take, and absolutely no thought went into this

You guys need to realizt that at 14 psi the stock springs cannot open and close right... Thus the low numbers.. On 20 psi. Ask skunk
