Ok i know there are alot of ppl out there that are putting the s/c from the cobalts ss onto there cavaliers and sunfires ecotec motors. and alot of you have questions on how to go about to have it flashed at gm, Now if the dealer ship asks you if u have the vci Number cause u need it for the reflash you dont, i had just got off the phone with techline were they send the reflash in the system to the vin of the vechile, they asked me for my vci number i dont them i didnt get one with my kit, they went and asked if they needed it for the relflash. they said i didnt need and they sent to the flash to my vin so all i gotta do now is hook up my tech2 and reprogram my ecm and its good to go. Now u just gotta find a dealer ship that wont give u the ran arounds about a VCI #, I hope this clears up some questions about the gm reflashs
this will also work for those who are putting on saab turbo kits on the ecotecs just gotta find a dealer ship that will do.

I just told the tech that i bought the kit used and didnt get a VCI number with it. Yes, my set-up is off a Cobalt SS/SC.
