Does anyone know anything about the GM S/C Stage 2 Kit for the 2.2 ECO? Like exact details, pulley size, etc.

Thanks

If I remember right, it comes with a 3.0" pulley, slightly shorter belt, larger fuel injectors, and a new calibration (one time from a GM dealer), all for about $900(?)

I would personally buy:
A smaller pulley and the puller/installer for about $130 plus shipping. I got mine from ZZPerformance.com, I went with the 2.9". It comes with a hub that allows pulley removal and install using screws so that you don't have to remove the S/C to change pulleys
The stage 2 belt, if yours slips. I got lucky and my stock belt doesn't slip once the engine's warmed up still gonna get the shorter one, still gonna replace it tho.
Larger fuel injectors (got those from ZZPerformance too), the 42# ones for the cobalt about $220 (?), you'll need to get the harness and solder that in place of yours, the new connectors are different.
HPTuners $650.

You spend about the same both ways, but you end up with "free" HPTuners going the way I went.

there is NO i repeat [NO/size] stage kits made for the j's made by or sold by GM

cobalts and ions are the only 1's to get them for the s/c

www.hptuners.com

and you could also make some money back on the HPT if other people want to use it, you can charge them for the credits (costs $50 for 1 credit from hpt, takes 2 to license 1 car)

www.zzperformance.com is a good place to get some stuff as well as www.ottperformance.com

if your motor is stock, i would get a 3.1 with 42#s and a cobra heat exchanger. try www.svtperformance.com and see if you can find anyone with a cobra selling their stock unit, if not the zzperformance and ottperformance heat exchangers are pretty nice

The only GM S/C kit I can find is from Summitracing.com. The guy at Gm who was working on my J said that they have a Stage 2 kit for around $750. Although he might be confused on what size ECO it's for... I dunno really...I'm ordering my kit from Summit...ne other ideas? Thanks for the info evilmonkitar.

i would just order the injectors, belt and pulley from zzp or ott instead of buying the kit from summit, it will be cheaper

x2

but as evilmonkitar is telling you, you can design your own stage kit based off of the gm stage kit for the cobalt.

problem is there is no way to TUNE the eco s/c pcm as flashed from GM

you have to start with the non-s/c tune and tune it from that

You again are correct.
