im new to j-body org and i have an 03 cavy..2.2 ecotec
i was wondering if anybody knew where to buy a supercharger for it?
i have been looking and cant find it..
thanks
Definitely not in the J-Body Meets area.... WTF do you mean you've been looking for it and can't find it? Searching on Google for "
2.2 ecotec supercharger kit" yields MANY results like
this one. For the amount of people who run this kit, and have asked this question hundreds of times before, I'm shocked you couldn't find any results the website you're posting on right now.

well am i better off buying a turbo then? im getting 20 grand soon so haha some of its gonna go into my cav
a car with a supercharger is always one car length ahead in a race. This is because a supercharger is constantly working and a turbo wont kick in until a certain RPM. I have a turbo on my 2000 cav just because its cheaper but in my opinion i think a supercharger is the way to go. Check craigslist.org for a supercharger and if that doesnt work ebay never fails

the supercharger alone may cost $700 from GM. not the kit or the necessary pieces to make the supercharger run.
my carDomain updated 8/10/09 Forged and Supercharged
Why go supercharged when you can have one of the baddest turbo kits out there? Check the link in my sig, I'm not far from you.
i thought the 2.4 supercharger kits got that low before they wer phased out, or while being phased out

Supercharger is the way to go if you want 300ish hp and better reliability. But no supercharger is reaching 600-700 hp in our cars like turbos are. So if your looking for all out power go turbo and if your looking for a fun daily driver go supercharger.

if you cant even fined a place to buy a s/c kit, than a turbo is not for you.....
