LD9 Intake / LD9 Turbo Manifold

Hey guys, Just have a couple of quick questions. Ive read up very little on the 2.3 Quad 4 intake manifold Swap on the 2.4 Twin Cam engines (LD9). Now i have a 2.3 OHC Intake manifold, will that work with the twin cam? And is there any proven numbers on the swap? And i'm also looking for a 2.4 turbo manifold, i have a complete turbo kit from my old 2.2 but i just don't have a manifold for the LD9. Do i have to get one custom made? Thanks guys.

The 2.3 intake mani will not bolt right up. It does need to be modified to fit. You are going to either make a phenolic spacer to match it up or buy one from another member. Iv had no luck finding a spacer but they are out there. The exhaust mani you can have made on your own or buy one. I am getting mine through Vulcan turbo but I think there are some cheaper ones on e bay if you look there. Im not sure id go the e bay route but you never know. If you search 2.3 intake mani swap there are a lot of other threads on this for more info if you need it.

STR makes a cast log manifold for the ld9, they are under $300 and carry a decent 3 year warranty.
Thats what I bought, very good piece for the price. I cant remember their website off the top of my head and not on my computer so no bookmark. If I remember it Ill update the thread.
