well I just installed my racetronix fuel pump started the car up and I cant get my fuel pressure at idle to 35 psi. Its a hahn stage II turbo kit 2004 cavy any help?
Why would you want your idle pressure so high??? Mine chills around 20psi at idle with a perfect AFR of 14.5-15.5
"You can only feed them semen for so long before their legs fall off."
Hahn revomends 35 for the stage 2 I can't even get 20 psi
Well, the hahn kit cant adjust idle fuel pressure. The BEGI rising rate reg only adjusts when 0 vacuum to boost is seen. If you want to adjust your idle fuel pressure you'll have to get the begi/cartech Multi Role regulator. Runs about $350 i believe. Hahn is probably talking about the Onset fuel pressure, not idle.
Just disconnect the vacuum source to the BEGI and adjust the FP to 35 psi. Hope this helps!

I would not run my FP that low at idle. Tune with HPT would be better.
FU Tuning
pick up an accell adjustable fuel pressure regulator, either that or get a tune.
All I want... is a little of the good life
I'm running an Aeromotive adj. FPR on my setup along with a modified fuel rail--no issues with idle fuel pressure being set where I want it.
Well, he's running the Hahn kit with a BEGI so it's not HPTuned.. You cant/dont wanna run another FPR inline with the BEGI....why would you regulate already regulated fuel pressure?
Once he's HPtued he can take the BEGI off and then buy a FPR to attach to the fuel rail. Most those FPR's are 1:1 and the begi is like 8 or 12:1...necessary for untuned boosting.

so i've been reading and doing a little thinking. I have about 1/4 tank of gas and heard about this fuel cut issue do you guys think that could be the problem?
yea nevermind that didn't work. I'm going to try putting a new fuel filter in if that doesn't work who wants to drive to my place and tune this damn thing
YOU CANT ADJUST IDLE FUEL PRESSURE WITH A HAHN TURBO KIT!!!!!! Only onset pressure. Make sure you're detaching the vacuum line when adjusting the pressure...and if you cant get it to 35 psi you probably did something wrong with the fuel pump install or your fuel pressure gauge is out of wack

I've tried disconecting the vacuum line tried two different gauges idk what would've been wrong with the install
Stupid question, but are you sure you tapped the correct line? Have you tried to "dead head" the pump (pinch the return line off) ? What kind of fuel psi gauge do you have, and where is it installed?

The pump was an in-tank. I've tried two gauges the one that came with my hahn kit and a glo shift. I have it hooked up to the service port on the fuel line
