I am working on a LD9 turbo build. I am going to be running 20-25psi. I have 2 problems. I CANT FIND A HEADER! And I don't understand wastegates all that well. Does anyone know what size wastegate and what spring I should use? Thanks for all your help.

I do not think any company is making a turbo header for the LD9 anymore. Would have to be custom.
As for wastegate size 38mm should be ok, if not 44mm.
FU Tuning
your build list already states you got a custom turbo header.
also instead of saying youre gonna run xxx psi, why not tell us where you wanna be power wise.
depending on turbo/hp #'s you might be better suited with a 44mm wastegate so your boost pressures dont spike/creep and have your boost level controlled better
also turbo manifold options consist of atomic/vulcan turbo/maybe fetter if he has time, if i left anyone out i apologise
Let me elaborate. I bought this cavalier about 4yrs ago the way you see on my profile. The turbo took a crap on me about 2weeks after I bought it. I sent the car to a "trustworthy guy" i herd about who said he would fix my car. $2000 and 3 months later I still had no car back. I told this guys to give me my car back and refund my money. So in the middle of the night he pushed my car outside and left me a message telling me to come pick it up. Needless to say I got my car back in pieces. The turbo and header were both gone. I did "have" a header unfortunately I don't anymore. The only reason I say 20psi is because that's what I was running with the internals and stuff on it before.
What lb. spring should I use in the wastegate? Thank you for all your help.

i run an 11psi spring for low boost and have an electric turbo smart to up it to whatever i want for hight boost
i know ebay has sum manis for an z24 there cast tho and id run 44mm with 11psi spring with electric boost controller

The wastegate spring is what controls your boost level. Generally you will loose a few psi through the intercooler/pipes so (for example) you may be running a 15psi spring but may only see 13psi at the motor (and your guage reading depends where your boost guage is hooked up). To me it seems that it seems you are asking what wastegate sping you want to run but you are saying you want 20psi so I am a little confused, and 20psi seems like a lot of boost (I didn't look to see if you have a built motor) but maybe your planning on 300+whp and thats why you need 20psi.
i have a mild steel t3/t4 log mani, I went with a t3 super 60. may be what you need though.
i remember that car, guy owned a shop and built the header for it. he turboed phils original qbe can remember the name something fx. anyways i make headers for ld9, as far as wastegate i would go with a tial 44mm with a 10psi base spring with a manual boost controller you can only mult. spring pressure by 3 so that spring would be good to 30ish psi plus whatever pressure drop you would have threw your system. i dont know what turbo your going to run but i wouldnt run anything less than t3/to4e 60trim
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
u cant go wrong with a 50 trim and a 44mm w/g. i would suggest the 10.15 psi spring (assuming u got with tial) as for the header i would say i can make u one but i dont have a mock up car and as for that guy that ripped u off, well if it were me i would get my money back one way or another and then something would happen to something that belongs to him months down the road.

i make neons go fast
