Okay so before I supercharged my car I would love to put it in low 1 and "shift" up to Drive. Yeah, i know, lame-ish. But anyways after I got the car supercharged and flashed if I put it in low 1 or low 2, it will have no power and creep forward at first and then take off. It will also upshift by itself now. WTF? Now they are useless to use and have ruin my fun.
So has anybody experienced this issue on their supercharged automatics with GM flash.
I heard from someone that there is a chance I got the wrong calibration (manuel instead of auto). Is that possible and how can i tell?
This is the vehicle and what is on it/new:
2003 Cavalier, automatic, with 169xxx miles
GM M62 supercharger kit (installed at 165xxx miles) with GM flash
ZZP 3.1" pulley, intercooled with dual pass endplate and phenolic s/c spacer
K&N intake
LSJ header with Borla cat-back exhaust
New sensors: ECT, pre-cat O2
New battery
New thermostat
RKsport beryllium coils
NGK Iridium IX plugs (originally OEM at .45, now 1 step colder at .38)
if you got the manual reflash car wouldn't drive at all.

That's why I thought, but two people metioned the possibility of the wrong tune.
there are many version calibrations for the automatic. make sure you received the correct one. there is always a chance the control unit can be damaged during flashing so that maybe something to take into consideration.
There are more than one auto calibration? Is there a way to check which ones there are and which one I have?
How can the control unit be damaged? Should I take it to where I got it flashed and tell them what's wrong?
Obviously it is a good idea to bring it to them if you can pinpoint that was exactly when it stopped functioning. It sounds like you abuse your tranny though so chances are it could be related to that as well.
I am not saying I have never shifted my tranny before I actually used it to avoid an accident one time to help the engine “brake” the car faster (downshifted).
That being said I suggest you discontinue upshifting the car etc. because it will cause premature transmission failure. It’s an automatic just let it do its thing!
Lol, I am not going to lie, I do abuse the tranny, hell I abuse the car, but luckly she's kept up with me.
Yeah I no longer shift it after the s/c and tune because of the issue. It is a huge disadvantage.
It is not a disadvantage, the car will shift at the right time.

I have the same thing, and yeah I abused the tranny before the blower and I don't think it has much life left.
had a blown ecotec swapped 2000 cavy, now just an 02 Grand Am, and a 74 BMW 2002...

Lol, I meant it is now a disadvantage to shift the tranny since Low 1 and Low 2 will make it stutter before it takes off.
i think this might be an issue with the auto flash. i have the manual flash and have no issues. if you show tonight to that car wash i bet someone there might be able to help.
