Automatic Transmission M62 guys help me out

The little metal nipple on the TB adaptor that you see here. Where do you guys hook it up to?

The Blower install instructions say this...

62. For an automatic transmission, connect the remaining
vacuum port on the throttle body adapter to the vacuum
accumulator port. For a car with a manual transmission,
cap the port.


So do you guys use it, or could I have it left off the LS1 TB adaptors I am trying to get made?

ok then. well Ill have them make it just like the stock adaptor, and those that need it can use it, and those that dont need it wont use it.

There should have been a vac line that went to the stock intake manifold that fits on there. That thing circled above is the evap purge solenoid and is for emissions.

Hmmm, Hvac system. I thought our little pocket of 2003-2005 Cavaliers had all Hvac systems cable controlled. Then again it could of been for the 2002 Hvac system if they were still vacuum operated.

02 have a vac flap that only chooses between defrost and everything else.
