Boost\Vac Gauge

Alright.. so I had a ton of fun today putting in my first, of many more to come boost parts. I had one question, I got the wiring all set-up for my autometer gauge.. but when I spliced it into the vac line off the TB I just wanted to make sure I got the right one? Currently if you look directly at the engine (from standing infront, on a 2.4l) I spiced the boost line\vac line off the right most line. (again on driver side) is that the correct one? at idle it says I'm at like -20 vac.. during acceleration it goes to about 0, so I am thinking I did the right one, just wanted to be for sure. the paper didn't say which one to splice into... thanks =)

JTuners.Com ..... Leo you rock man.. thank you for your great research before giving me the kit.. I can't wait to be your next buyer =D

all you need is a T inline with the line that goes to the FPR

Oh poop... I did the other one.. -.- Well... I have vac pressure at least ,LOL.... I need to fix it. if you look at J32m's picture, its the bottem right line I tapped into. Well... now you guys ruined my happiness.. I thought I finaly did something right on my own lol... thank you so much for posting, I wonder what line I really tapped into, but one thing I noticed, the kit I was given, the T wouldn't fit that small line? I got the autometer lunar series. and its like I think 1/8 on the T with a rubber piece for the gague hose..?

It doesn't matter, you can leave it on the line you have it on and it'll be perfectly fine.

What did I tape into? Are you sure I will still read an accurate boost reading once I slap on my turbo next week.... (not that its going to be 100% anyways.. but at least something close enough to do minior tuning until I get a wideband)

If its the one next to the really thick tube in the middle, its the EVAP (I think, either that or A/C) signal, if its the one on the right under the thick tube (brake booster), its the HVAC signal.

Yeah.. its the one right under the thicker hose on the right (driver) side of the intake.... as long as it'll work I guess I'll keep it there.. during idle and under just normal driving its around -10-15 vac, when I nail the gas it pings to 0 (even) so I guess its working some what correctly, won't know until I have boost forcing more air into the TB.
