Hey i have a 91 2.3 quad four, 3 speed grand am tranny in my garage. Will it fit the 2.2ohv from a 96 sunfire? I know they are both 3 speed, but i wasnt sure if the bolt patterns were the same. I just killed my transmission. It died out of nowhere, no slippin nothing. Just quit. Any help would be great.

No, it will not work. The quad 4 (both 2.3 and 2.4) bell housing is different from the 2.2L. The 3 speed for the 2.2 is relatively common in junk yards and such. Watch ebay and check
