OK, so I dropped in a new ngine(my brother actually). Now my clutch pedal is squishy(nothing at all till 2/3rds down). I bled the line and there is no air. it's clear fluid from the reservoir to the bleeder valve.
It still has the problem I puush the pedal down and it stays there, I have to pull it back up. As soon as I pull a bit it pops right up. It's not releasing at all, it won't go into any forward gear and it grinds trying to go into reverse.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
its your slave cylinder......did you replace it?? probly what happened when you replace the tranny is the cylinder moved to far out of range and it lost all it's hydralic pressure.
I ain't callin u a gold digga,but you ain't messin wit a broke cracka
I didn't replace it, I actually wasn't there when he did the tranny stuff. Is the slave inside the housing? Do I have to pull it out again to fix it?
And can it be fixed or do I have to buy a new one?
I know alot of you guys here buy all new parts whenever you have the chance to put tme in(i.e timing chain, guides, water pump etc...) but I'm on a budget of about $0 right now so I have to re-use everything I take out when possible.
you can't fix it.........it's actually inside the tranny
you would have to remove the tranny again to get to it.It's the cylinder that "pushes" the [ressure plate against the clutch.
