my tranny as of yesterday was doing great. no problems, shifted into gear fine, and went thru the gears good.

today it ran good untill i got home from best buy.

i was getting ready to leave and when i put it down into Drive it clunks and jerks the car.

i just bought the car and got a new ld9 droped but im wondering, if there was a tranny fluid loss when they swaped motors.

i've added a 1/2 quart of dexron III and still no improvements.
since theres no dip stick, and i only have 2 jack stands, getting the car off the ground and level isn't a option for me.

When driving it clunks into every gear. i got it up the street and turned around because of this problem.

I have the 4speed auto 4TH40 (i think thats right) and its on a 97LS Sedan with a 99 LD9 motor
