ok, im unsure if anyone cmae across this but here goes; i recently bought the cav-99 z24 auto. i noticed that around 2000-3000rpms goin around 20-30mph i hear a low to mid rattling noise depending on how much i step on the pedal. after adding the b&m shift+, thus increasing the tranny line, i hear the rattling alot louder because since the b&m controls the shift timing, im in the gear a bit longer (im only saying this from the feel from the car). i am scheduled to go for a tranny flush at 76000miles, but just curious if its something more.....to worry about. i undersdtand the isuzu tranny is known for the 'harmonic noise', but from what i read, only from the 5 speeds. thanks in advance.

I think it is technically called torque converter shutter. Mine does this, I do not think it is a good thing, mine does it after I bet the hell out of the car at the track. I have been told that I need to get a new torque converter, but when I changed my tranny fluid it definitely helped.
I have 117,500 miles on mine 99 auto, and I race it weekly. Mine has been doing this on and off for about 1 year, and still works fine for now.
